The International Team Shares Their British Beauty Buys

Welcome to Byrdie UK'sВ Brit Month, a monthlong celebration of all things eccentrically and wonderfully British. From the little-known, homegrown beauty brands we're championing to the beauty trends that we Brits will be all over in 2017, this is the place to dive into all things quintessentially and brilliantly British.

The grass is always greener, or so the saying goes. Which is why we're obsessed with French women's hair, amazed by Korean skincare, and take our fitness cue from whatever L.A. natives are doing. Of course, we're proud to be British, and we know we have some great beauty brands on this fair isle, but sometimes it's nice to be reminded of how good we've got it. This is why I called on the international editors at Byrdie and Who What Wear to find out what British beauty products they buy on the regular. Needless to say, you won't be surprised that one particular brand features twice, plus there is a ВЈ6 nude lipstick that will make you stop next time you're passing a Boots.

Keep scrolling to find out which British products are beauty highlights for our international editors.

Elemis Superfood Facial Oil $55Shop

"Elemis has long been a brand I turn to for my skin becauseВ it just works. This highly concentrated oil (seriously, a little goes a long way) is meant to feed your face with antioxidant and omega-rich ingredients. TheВ blend of broccoli, flaxseed and daikon radish boostsВ stressed, dull skin and makes it stronger and more supple with each application. Oh, and by the way, it smells incredible, like a mix of herbs and whatever they rub on you at a fancy spa. The oil is super silky, absorbs quickly and has absolutely upped the health of my skin. Officially, my complexionВ has never looked better."

Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Foundation $46Shop

"I am low-key obsessed with all things Charlotte Tilbury,В with this foundation in particular and the Instant Magic Facial Dry Sheet MaskВ ($22). Even the worst skin day is no match for these two products, which says a lot of their individual radiance-boosting properties."

Butter London Nail Lacquer in Saucy Jack $15 $8Shop

"Butter London's nail polishes are my all-time favorite. I can always trust the shades to be chic, the polish to apply effortlessly and the formula to last on my nails without a topcoat, chip-free, for days longer than most other brands."

The Nue Co. Debloat Food + Prebiotic $75Shop

"After meeting with Jules Miller, founder of The Nue Co., I was instantly hooked on the supplements, not only because of the chic packagingВ but the care in which she took to craft natural, effective powders made from the finest ingredients.

"My powder of choice is this powder, an anti-inflammatory blend I like to mix into my tea or a warm mug of almond milk. On days when I'm feeling especially puffy, I gulp this downВ and feel better within an hour or so. It's pretty incredible, and I love that it's totally plant-based so I can feel safe in the process."

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream $100Shop

"I adore this product. It's the only cream I've found that makes dry skin immediately disappear. Especially in the winter, it's a godsend."

Rimmel London Kate Moss Lasting Finish Lipstick in 03 $7Shop

"I have a bevy of nude lipsticks that are on constant rotation, but this drugstore gem has made the cut every single time. I picked it up years ago when I was living in London (aka the height of my Kate Moss obsession), and it was one of the first nude lipsticks I ever tried. It singlehandedly converted me to #teamnude for life.

"The formula is rich, creamy, and gives a full coat of pigment in one swipe. I like that the actual lipstick part feels sturdy like I can press it firmly into my lips without fear of it breaking (which has definitely happened before with other lipsticks). The color is a pale, pale nude with mostly cool undertones and maybe just the very tiniest hint of peach. It's definitely a full-onВ nude-nude and looks amazing with thick black liner or a smudged smoky eye. The finished result has a slight sheen, lasts all night, and I swear the color changes a bit to suit my skin tone after a few minutes."
